Question on maximum 401K contribution for pay check

Hello, The maximum 401K contribution for year 2008 is 15,500. Is there a maximum contribution limit that we can contribute per pay check? I haven't contributed for 401K for the entire year and wondering if there is a limit per pay check to maximize as much as I can. And, for most taxpayers, that’s a pretty safe assumption.   Using Table A below, find your filing status and income in one of the first two columns. Then, find the corresponding figure in the third column labeled, "Annual Value of Each Withholding Allowance.
